Chilly in action

This a video of Chilly before I got him.

Chilly

Here's Chilly. He's a purebred Arabian yearling stud colt sired by ML Mostly Padron. He's strawberry color right now, but is grey and will turn white eventually.

This is his baby picture.

Blackberry in action

Blackberry

Here's my horse Blackberry. Blackberry is a registered purebred Arabian sired by Valantino. She's pure black, 15.3 hands, and 4 years old.

I clipped her bridle path and muzzle with the clippers today. She had never been clipped before, but she got used to the clippers very quick.

She's in still in ground training and has never been ridden. When I got her she had never been tied, clipped, saddled, or taught to lunge. She's doing great with her groundwork. She learns really fast and is really smart.

What the %^&* is a Starter? This girl is crazy.

This is for those of you who are thinking " What the %^&* is a starter? I have no clue what this girl is talking about."

A sourdough starter is used to leaven bread without any commercial yeast products. (leaven= raise) A starter is made by combining flour and water and letting the wild yeasts grow. They need a lot of care and a healthy environment to grow properly. It must be fed daily or twice daily by removing part of the starter and adding flour and water. When your starter is doubling after a feeding you can then use it to make bread.

Essentially they are like pets, you have to feed them, water them, and give them proper shelter so they will survive.
